I was lucky enough to get access on a local Golf Club where a Fox family resides during this lock-down period...

I can't tell you how long I tried to grab a copy of this lens before I got to be so old and infirm.

Thanks for posting.

Nice shot! Impressive, the optical performance of the SMC Pentax-FA* 250-600mm f5.6 ED [IF] !!! As a pentax wildlife shooter i find its really difficult to find decent lens on the 500mm (k mount) end for wildlife! ...close to the ground and no heat diffraction, you must have been really close to him!

Thanks,
about distance I was maybe 40-50 ft away (12-17m), and since they were on a tee off on a bump, and I was a bit lower than the subject, it was easy to be at that level...
and weather quite fresh early AM, so not much eat diffraction, so I was at the right place at the right time... It was just a wonderful moment just prior coming back home and do my telework starting at 9M.
Was a long time I haven't done some outings with my FA*, and it was good!

Thanks to all other comments as well! Very nice of you!

I just posted another one in this thread...

cheers! and Stay safe!

The remnant in his mouth is really the icing on the cake. What a cool shot.

Foxes are rare around here. I'm 74 and I think I've see exactly one in the wild while out camping. Squirrels on the other hand are not so rare...

Could we say that the large urban Grey squirrels are probably considered as "junk food" for them... ? Lots of fat in that !
but we could also call them "Fast food" , because they run fast !
