Wild flower

This plant is called a 'begrafplaas plantjie' in Afrikaans a South African language. The English meaning is .....it's found in abundance in graveyards!
In my garden it is found in abundance, but I'd hate it if someone called my garden a graveyard.........Lol

Very nice composition, colors ( I have always liked purple with green) and interesting all around. Thanks so much for sharing.

I understand what you are concerns are. It does not look over saturated at all. This type of flower does have rich, full bodied colors when at their peak. I believe you captured it very nicely. If it were over saturated, it would be so at the very tip of the petals and it does not. The only issue I have experienced when shooting flowers with a long telephoto lens is "compression." Meaning when you bring a subject all the way in, it will make the background become closer to the subject, which to some degree is the case here but nothing to worry about. Again, very nice work with vintage Pentax gear.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

However, i do hope you are not just being kind, I really don't mind a bit of harsh criticism, I need it to get to the point where I want to be.
