Dandelion Feast for Bears
Lens: A 400/5.6 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Golden, BC Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F11

Even more black bear shots...

Nice and bright today, perfect for bear shots - this guy was pretty close when I saw him, so just a little bit of cropping:


The bears really aren't the most cooperative subjects - I kindly asked him to stand up for a shot, instead he turned and sprinted away:


There was also a mother with her two cubs, in another part of the field - this one has a bit more cropping than the two above:

Nice shots Robert, as least your Black Bears are black, Most of the black bears that I encountered in Waterton Lakes National Park were different shades of brown.

Thanks Jim - a lot of my bear shots have grass or leaves hanging from their mouths... they have to eat quite a bit at their size...

Thanks Heinrich - the majority of black bears here seem to be black, though I've seen a few brown/cinnamon ones (that people will mistakenly call grizzlies)
