Sunning in Formation
Lens: HD DA55-300mm f4.5-6.3 PLM Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Granite Bay, CA ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F6.3

This is the turtle warming spot at a local pond. Sometimes there are close to a dozen all lined up.

Lady Kerrowdown used to keep Red-eared Terrapins back in the day, which I believe are the same flavour as these.

Being cold blooded reptiles they needed to thaw out in the sun or under the heat lamps to get themselves going.

Very well done, (pun intended). I like the settings for this image. I am sure the faster shutter speed was not used to avoid speed blur by the subjects. ) I like this one a lot.

Thanks so much Tony! I was trying for a little motion blur, but just couldn't pull it off.
