Alternate version of "Isle-aux-Pins", taken with a Pentax 67 II and M* 300 mm f/4 lens on Ektar 100 negative film, tripod-mounted @ f/8. Reaching this observation spot, loaded as a mule with photographic equipment, is a feat I can no longer accomplish since both of my knees had to be replaced because of osteoarthritis, the left one in August 2015 and the right one in January 2016. I often dream I could once again reach this viewpoint but it's a thing of the past for me.

At least you have an outstanding photographic reminder forever; it is a beautiful photograph, even just viewing a digital scan on the Internet.

It is a beautiful image, with the background trees reflected in the water, the silver mottled sheen on the rest of the water, and the variegated colours in the foreground. And the whole image still comes across as sharp, even after being digitized.
I like it.

For real, this 67 M* 300 mm f/4 lens is "crazy-sharp" at f/8, you could easily produce very nice 24" X 30" enlargements from the original negative. Thank you for your kind comments.

Regards

Beautiful image Richard. The beauty of photography is having images like this to preserve the moments.
