Balanced Rock is one of the wonders you can see in Arches Nat'l Park, Utah. The earth is really deep red and this rock is enormous, as you can gauge in relation to the people on the left side of the image. Taken with a Pentax K5 and the old DA 55-300 mm f/4-5.8 zoom lens, at 55 mm FL and f/11.

That is a very cool looking rock formation. The red colors look great with the blue sky background.

Colours are excellent, focus is sharp. It feels positively 3-dimensional.
