Face With A Story
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 06-07-2020, 03:59 AM

A "Street Portrait" of gentleman I've known for many years now... he's a street portrait painter himself.

Great timing, KD. I wonder what he's thinking.

You have to be impressed by the fine details in the image and the long focal length brings his face up close and personal without actually getting in his face. Very impressive.

Thank you, I'd been speaking with him and was taking a few images of him... while he went about his work.

As I said I've been speaking to him over the years... we first spoke. when he saw me working a hundred yards or so away. He said he knew the form, as his wife is a Greek fashion photographer now residing and working in Germany.

So he does the opposite... speaks volumes I thought.

He's a German, that comes out to the Greek Isles for the Summer months, to do portrait painting of tourists. His Brother-in-Law does the same... just a few leafy shaded trees away.
