Hi,
Here an Alcedo Atthis from the WWF Park of Alviano Lake.
He was very close, 5 m from me, it was very exciting and I stayed there for more then an hour...
Comments and critisc are always appreciate

Very nice image. The bird, branch and cobwebs are all in sharp focus and there is nothing to distract in the background.

Fantastic capture cocco91! The colors of the bird against the green background are stunning and you got a very nice pose out of the bird.

Hi Thank you! Yes, the common name in English is Kingfisher (Thanks to jbinpg, I didin't know the common english name) )

Yes, I shot many photos, but this one is really good for the background, in fact there was some trees back the bird and the bokeh did the rest

Yes, the other birds I met did the same, but this one was very friendly and decided to fish right in the front of my shack for one hour
