Thank you very much. I wonder, could it have been a MUSTANG? Whatever it was, it was fast. )

Hi,

Talking of hot rod Lincolns in 1974 Holden here in Australia built a batch of 260 Holden Toranas to be eligible for our annual 1000 kilometre race at Bathurst. A friend of mine had one and out ran the police one night. The local police sergeant heard about it and told him that the police force had nothing that would catch them. To give you an example of how quick they were he did 83 miles one day in 36 minutes and these were stock standard vehicles!

Regards,
Gordon.

Interesting. I do recall the Holden, in fact it was made by General Motors up until a few years ago. It is now called a Chevy something or other, but it is a very good quality

build vehicle as I understand. Thanks very much for your input.

WOW!! Jer. My crows feet are jumping for joy. I completely forgot about that verse. As my close, personal friend, Bob Hope would say, "Thanks for the memories." )
