A little fall foliage
Posted By: 8540tomg, 11-02-2008, 01:25 PM

A perfect fall day here today. A little late fall foliage and scenes from the Conservation area just up the street. I must visit this place more often. All images Pentax K10 with SMC M 35mm f2. C & C welcome.

#1. Just a mess of leaves in the pond but it caught my interest.

Thanks Jim/JIMBO.

I like this one as well. I hardly ever use the old M 35mm f2 because I don't really like the focal length very much. It's been ages since I used this lens even though I carry it around as part of my regular kit. This one was f16 with a fairly long exposure as I recall. I used the railing on the bridge crossing the pond for support. Maybe I'll resurect it a little more often in the future.

I like the first image. Try shooting in overcast weather. The colours are more saturated and there is less or no shadow.

Can't wait to check these out at home. At work they look good and it is a crappy monitor. Nice work
