First decent showing for this plant combined with the fact Pentax don't do Red... pretty lucky I got an image at all.

That is a real beauty, perfectly formed. I can't seem to get very good blooms out of mine this year.

I bought it last year and to be honest in did nothing, nada, zip... So this year just one bloom, which I've keeping an eye on to get the right time to photograph it.

It's also supposed to be a highly scented too... perhaps that happens next year.

The very epitome of a red rose. A beautiful deep rich red. And the Pentax red bogeyman nowhere in sight!!
