Nature Early Morning Stretches

Australiasian Darter in the early morning sun (shot was taken at 7:41 am, over two hours earlier than my normal wake-up!!!) I was disappointed that I hadn't been able to get a little closer for a better shot. I was even more disappointed after getting home and bringing the pic up on the computer and finding I had only stretched the 55-300mm PLM to 230mm!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about proximity and zoom control... the shots still good and includes the complete reflection.

I'm lucky to be even looking through the lens the right way at that time in the morning.
