Beautiful image with terrific colors in the sky and water.. I really like the silhouettes of the palm trees.

Thanks! I am very happy with the colours indeed... in person it was just surreal how the sunset was so visibly pink and purple.

That is very nice. Looking forward to seeing more, along with your impressions of India from a tourist perspective.

I'll probably whip up something like a "blog post" once I'm done with editing - I am done with culling and I have edited something like 8 days out of the 17 the trip lasted - but the ones left are some of the most photo-intensive ones.

Spoiler alert: gorgeous environments and lots of lovely people, but... a good deal of poverty. I couldn't bring myself to photograph people in several of the cities visited.

Hah, took a while longer to get them ready but they are finally done. Now I'm just not sure whether I should post them in the PYP section or... General photography? It's gonna be quite a long write up so it might be too much for Post your photos .

Perhaps you could do a week (or a day) at a time? Select a dozen or so photos for an individual thread? Everyone has a different take on these things, but I tend to scan the unread thread listing for topics started by certain individuals and are more interested in the actual pictures you post than the various comments about the pictures.

Wow, magic picture. It's so "dark" that it is a bit surreal but I love it.
