I've noticed, the more limited DR of Canon sensors are an advantage in this type of image. One of my pro buddies who switched from Canon to Nikon used to have many of this type of image for sale, although, if I use his work as an example, he would have backed up and included more negative space in the final image. Every brand has things that are good for somebody. This is the type of mage Canon is built for.

I thank you very much Norm for your comment and helpful hints and suggestions. I will let you in on a little secret, so don't tell anybody, wouldja? The color you see in this

image is not the real or actual color of the subject. The actual color is purple, and I am having a Devil of a time getting it right.
