The big apertures of a fast prime let you just paint.

The key to everything is late-afternoon or early evening light - the long wavelengths
bring out the warmth. If you can get a steep angle of sunlight on leaves, that adds
to it, because you can take advantage of shadows in addition to the warmth. Its all
about light!
