Splash collision.
Lens: Tamron 90mm 1-1 macro Camera: K3 Photo Location: Uk ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/80s Aperture: F11

Have not posted on here for a long time due to health issues, but had a play in my little home studio with my Pluto trigger, what a great piece of kit. Anyway here is one of my favourite shots .

Hope you are over your health issues.

Great shot. What was your background, just a blue cloth or something different?


I am surprised, with the lockdowns everywhere for COVID 19 that there are not a lot more shots like this posted.

Thank you Lowell, the background is an A4 print of an out of focus sky printed on to card. I tend to have a stock of such images for backgrounds in macro work. Health is getting back after suffering a bad stroke which left me parallelised on my right side but have now recovered reasonably well thank you.

Thanks for the tip on the background. I have lots of similar shots, usually from missed birds in flight photos
