Bee and Bug.
Lens: HD DA 55-300 PLM Camera: K-1 II ISO: 320 Shutter Speed: 1/1500s Aperture: F6.3

All the insects love this Coreopsis. Pretty good sized plant so there's plenty for everyone.

Awesome image. I really enjoy the angle you used here as it presents a whole new perspective. A very well constructed photograph.

That is one humdinger of a flower, DW58. its effect on me makes me totally understand how it attracts the bees et al!


At first glance the flower and the bee have so much impact, it takes a while to notice that the bee has company.

Great clarity of detail in this shot. Stunning image.

Terrific capture Dave! The details are excellent, as well as the fantastic colors. That bee's wings have taken a beating from the looks of it.

Thanks Todd. Our garden must be a rough neighborhood. Many of the flying insects I see have beat up wings.
