"Lucky"? Curious choice of word, I'm just a hobbyist photographer shooting for portfolio, she's a model posing for portfolio!

Anyway, the feel - and all us photographers need to establish this before picking up the camera - was she is your new girlfriend, and you're taking the picture to celebrate that. Shallow depth of field for intimacy, arm stretching out to include us. Lots of personality, so lots of colour saturation. The DA*55 does that so well.

Well for us old, warn out, fat men u are lucky to be able to hang out with such a nice looking lady and are a very good photographer. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks, Dipo. You have to be at the top of your game technique wise and with knowledge of your camera, almost like stripping a rifle blindfolded, because the moment you let your rapport with the model taper off, so does their mood, and so does their expression ... you kill the magic. So you have to almost operate everything and solve all the little problems (like removing lens caps, checking exposure) seamlessly, without breaking conversation, without giving away that you're also thinking of all the little boxes that have to be ticked before you press the shutter button.
