Neowise C/2020 F3
Lens: 50mm M 1.7 Camera: K3II Photo Location: Kamloops B.C. ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F2.8

3 panel mosaic, 6 lights each, ISO 400, 90s exposures at f2.8 Pentax 50mm f1.7 M @ 2.8. 19 bias frames, no darks, no flats.
My goal was to catch that secondary ion tail, and it worked quite well.

Ok. Played with different editing techniques. Still relatively new with SiriL so finding the right settings/technique is a process.
While I like how smooth it's DSLR scripts are, I don't really like how it debayers my RAW files; Colours are always slightly off.
So, I re-did Comet NEOWISE C/2020 F3, this time developing the RAW in LR first, and using the 7 tiff's from one of my mosaic panels, I calibrated them in SiriL with the 19 Bias and stacked them then stretched it in FITSLiberator3 and put it all back together in Affinity Photo for the colour. Did a bunch of colour control, NR etc, exported and touched up in LR for the final. The secondary tail really sticks out now.
Same as the last version: Pentax K3II, ISO 400, 50mm M 1.7 @f2.8 7x 90s lights with built-in astrotracer.

Hehe, many folks have said that today. This editing is complex but doesn't take too long once you know what you're doing. I think it took about an hour from start to finish this morning.

What a spectacular result! Thanks for posting the method used.
