Re the eye, I went back and lookEd at other shots, it has two, maybe just not clear in the upload. The bird seemed accustomed to people, and if you look at my other post, this appears to be one of 3 in a family which were known to have been nesting nearby in the park. It appears they have now fledged.

Edit note, this is the first bird that has truly filled the entire frame of my K1. Doing the math the shooting distance works out to about 5.5 meters
