Great light this evening toward sunset. Still giving myself assignments like... How to shoot, only in manual, tough lighting. Training to be able to see it; be able to run the meter around the scene and choose the exposure correctly. These are straight out of camera. The ones I obviously converted, I didn't mess with exposure.

How did I do?



Done that tree and will do it more! Right in the sun, I'm facing north. The clouds that way were dramatic touching up with color.

Here, many levels of color and light with shade. Wanted to get the tree tipped with sunlight.



Same point in the intersection turned to the NE corner. Needs a cropping on each side a tad to tighten it up.



Into that crazy sunset...



Yep just about like that... Want to start a dramatic sky with urban or industrial elements. That is our working water front.
