Where the hell do some people get these ideas from? No, ideas is not right, too ....down to earth. Visions. That's the word.

In my (very) younger days, I dabbled a little at writing, even a stray bit of poetry. But in the end, even in those "creative" activities, I was always analytical, explanatory. My photography is the same - basically representational.

And then along comes people who do this sort of thing: such simplicity - but beautiful. A poem of light and texture!

A great shot, I love the way the neck disappears into the dark so only the strings and makers name remain visible. Well done
