Hey, pqberger, where have you been, with shots like these (referring to your recent rainbow lorrikeet shot) we should be seeing your work more often.

I know. I've been a member for a few years now but always just looking in the background and there are just so many things competing for our time. I should really make a bit more of an effort and share some of my photos. Always very self conscious as to whether or not they are up to scratch. While my skills have improved over the last handful of years they are still not quite where I'd like them. Always so much to learn. I mainly like to shoot nature and macro images but as I also show dogs on the weekends (not in the current Covid situation) I manage to combine both hobbies. I've been fortunate that my "dog show' images have been able to help fund camera body upgrades and the purchase of new glass.

Always nice to meet some fellow Aussie Pentaxians.

Nice shot. Did you have that lens before the K-3ii? If so, how much of an improvement have you seen?

I know the feeling. A few times I've hesitated to post shots because they weren't what I thought was my best effort. And a few times I just said "what the heck" and posted them anyway. I've truly been surprised how many 'likes' I've gotten. Your shot above is 'up to scratch' by anyone's standard in my opinion. I think it's well above 'scratch'. Keep 'em coming!
