I think they're trying to squeeze out the black sheep in the family.

A high level cuteness image... if ever there was.

I want the very pale one far left.

just remember what is little and cute now, can become very big and cute quickly.

our 8 pound bundle of joy (the runt of the litter) is now 7 years old and 92 pounds, and our daughters is now 4 years old and 82 pounds

both are golden retrievers who have been posted here previously (see posts A happy face and it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's superdog), and were similarly cute at 8 weeks old

Hi,

The centre one behind the black one looks very serious!

How long did it take to get them into that position?

I had a doberman that weighed 42 kilograms, or about 92 pounds I think. She was wonderful and I still miss her from 2004.

Regards,
Gordon.

Rarely can puppies be controlled to "get them into position". For this I had my daughter and the owner of the dogs assisting. They basically kept stuffing puppies into the basket while I kept trying to take photos. You have maybe 2 seconds before someone climbs out of the basket and then you have to start again. It just takes a lot of patience. I was very lucky to have captured this one but I guess that you have to put yourself in the position to be able to get the shot. So a part of it is working towards the image and a part is luck.

I might have to post my Pointer litter shot. 9 puppies and only two of us to control them and take the photo. Not as cute a photo but so much harder keeping that many in a fixed spot. Could not take a single shot without someone trying to exit the scene.
