Seagull Passing By Over Lake
Lens: Sigma 150-500 DG OS for Pentax Camera: Pentax K-5 IIS Photo Location: NY ISO: 320 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F13.5

This is a crop of a shot I took a few days ago of a seagull that was flying over a lake. The background has sort of a grayish tone.

The sharpness in this image is quite amazing. You nailed it for an awesome bird's eye viewing experience.

Thanks Tony. The sharpness was one of the main reasons I decided to post the image. The subject position, light availability, and the background smoothness were also factors. Using the F/13 aperture setting allowed the shot to have the depth for detail that it did.
