Still Life Afterlife

I picked the dead flowers from the Brugmansia in our garden, and when I wanted to throw them away, I was struck by their beauty. Even after flowering, at time of decaying, their colour is great, as is the structure of the (immense) flowers...

I have to agree, and your setting them on the floor boards is the perfect background. TFS.

They still have beauty left in them. Nice composition and a great idea.

They remind me of a lovely silk scarf or dress that was found in an old chest in grandmother's attic; still beautiful although no longer suitable for its original purpose.

Thank you, Kevin! The floor boards came from our bedroom, and I made a table out of them....
