I really like the moving wings in the second and the last photos you posted, but the whole series is excellent. I found it interesting that instead of a macro lens, you used a 300mm prime and a teleconvertor.

Thank you, I use the 300+1.4 when the light is right, open shade or subdued sunlight. It gives a bit more distance to work with. some in this series were taken with the 100-2.8 though.

Hi Susan and thanks for the kind remarks. Not that difficult, you know how to do it, you look through the little peephole on the camera and press that little thingy on top.

Beautiful bumbler shots, Heinrich. I believe these are male Central Bumble Bees, Bombus centralis.
