One Of Mother Nature's Finest.
Lens: Canon EF-S 55~250mm, IS, STM Lens Camera: Canon EOS 80 D Photo Location: Sherwood Forest ISO: 250 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F6.3
Posted By: Tonytee, 09-02-2020, 09:53 PM

Focal Length 194mm,Manual Exposure Mode, No Fill Flash With Multi-Segment Metering.

Do not know what type of flower this is, but I thought it had the potential to become a very nice looking offering. The golden glow around the image seems to lend a special

effect to the whole story.

Many thanks for viewing.

You are correct sir, it is a Zinnia and is especially beneficial for Butterflies. Many thanks for your feedback and comment.

Wow, Tony that is an awesome shot. I love the look of the velvety petals and the leathery look of the leaf below, somehow seems a 'strong' message also the curl of the leaf on the upper right hand corner is so attractive to the overall feel of this story. The orange glow makes it slightly more mysterious.......I'm getting carried away but a beautiful photo me thinks.

A great many thanks to you, young lady. I am thinking it would make a decent wall hanging and a pretty good conversation piece. Thnx again,

Tony
