Here is a stab at posting a photo. Taken with a Pentax K100D which I just purchased from eBay.

Very nice capture for just starting out and with vintage equipment. You will learn to like the 6.1 Megapixel Sensor. It does have a very good reputation.

Good to see these older models still going strong. Unlike film cameras they are not expected to live long lives, so good for you embracing something that is not the latest and greatest..

Thanks so much! Being new to posting photos here, I wasn't quite sure what I was doing or if the image was going to show up. I love this old camera. It was basically a 'discard' and cost me less than $90. It is very intuitive and a 32 mb sd card is probably overkill. I am having fun with it! My wife is suspicious when I tell her what I paid for it.

I love the colors and the composition. Just goes to show that you don't need the latest and greatest gear to capture wonderful images. Well done!

Sharp, crisp and colorful and a cool composition, as well. Looks great to me.

Thanks Jer. Sorry for the delayed response. Was in hospital for two weeks. Can't wait to get out and shoot more with the K100d.

Yours is a good camera. I have had a K-5 since circa 2015. I would like to replace it, but the K-5, which was a pro-camera is still functioning well. I am not a pro-photographer.

It's good to see that even older Pentax digital camera models can easyly deliver astonishing results today. And they seem to last longer than many of us think.

I still have a K200D in my home, which I usw with older glass from time to time. I like the colours the CCD delivers.
