Today was "Labor Day" in the US - the unofficial end of our summer. My wife decided this would be a good day for a walk ..... we could go any day since we are both retired now ..... but she picked this day, so we went across the border into Michigan {the state line is about a dozen miles from our house} and walked in a county park that is adjacent to our favorite park in our county. Unlike the Indiana park, this one has a "frisbee golf course", so it attracts even noisier people than the one we are familiar with, but we did manage to avoid crowds, and did have a good time seeing flowers, hearing birds, and we even did see a squirrel off in the distance.

Yes, it was a lovely day - it has been cloudy every day since then.
The fourth photo shows a picnic table shelter, occupied by a family having a great time.
I doubt it has received much use since then.
