A few Vegas hotels
Posted By: daacon, 11-07-2008, 07:21 AM

MGM - I had heard this place employee's 10k people. I remember going to Vegas in 1987 where the MGM Grand was a sign in the dirt. Should have invested then another fortune lost!

Today MGM owns the majority of the south side, Manadaly Bay, Excaliber and the Luxor.

One of the Cirque shows I want to see

An upscale casino - in these ecomic times we found it almost empty and not a waitress to be found. We did not stay in here very long.

What MGM does not own Harah's owns the center strip Bally's , Paris, Flamingo , Ceasars , and the RIO (off the strip a bit)

The show at Treasure Island has come a long way. we could feel the heat from the flames. Not to mention the heat generating from all the scantly glad women (and men) in the show - well worth a visit. I did not have my camera that evening I regret that one!

In the background I don't think Trump was given a casino license in Vegas. I think this is just a hotel and or condo's. Still he had to be bigger in true Trump style.

In true Roman decadence. We don't like this casino much so hard to get out of ! But the shops and atmopshere is worth checking out at least once.

A fun place with great atmosphere

It sure looks like you're having a wonderful time in sin city. The shot of the Flamingo is my favorite. I don't know how much longer you will be in Vegas, but try to make time for you and your camera to get out to Valley of Fire state park. You won't regret it. Keep the pics coming, have fun, and stay safe.

Las Vegas can be so much fun that many forget the beauty of the surrounding deserts and mountains. Here are just a couple from the Valley of Fire that I took in 2007. They are not very good and I've learned a lot since then, but I would love to see what you could do with your skills and nie glass.

Ha Ha first year we did not do the New York New York Roller Coaster - that one is a blast (as are the rides at the Stratosphere ...) Most of these were taken with the DA 55-300 atop the Eilffle Tower.

Dave, the night/evening shots are very well done.

I've been all over the US, Canada, Mexico, the Carribean and Europe - but I've never been to Las Vegas. You're evening shots make me want to go.

these types of images are what I love the most now.

They carry a sense of road trip and bring so much memories to the viewers as if we were in the trip ourselves. I love them a lot. Usually it is hard to compose images with such a wide perspective
