Just some pics...
Posted By: Scott Rylance, 10-11-2006, 08:32 PM

Here are a few photos from about a week back, with the Tokina 400mm and the DA 10-17mm FE. And a couple from last weekend with the Sigma 18-125mm.
Thanks for looking.

I really like #1, 3, and 4. The colors in the first are amazing, and you can barely see the fisheye effect, too!

The third is a nice abstract as well- the foreground colors blend in nicely with each other and are then contrasted by the blue sky. Great work

Scott, really excellent. I like your monocromatic choice for the Neavue Arte figure.

Good catch on the Dragon fly - not often you see that effect - outstanding.
Nos. 3 and 4 are even better - the colours too are outstanding.

Way to go.

Thanks guys for all your comments...I had fun taking these and i'm very happy with the results.
The dragonfly shot was pretty tricky to get, they zip around alot and are hard to get a clean shot at...especially with a 400mm lens that has a 2.5 metre as it's closest focus. Enough rambling...thanks again.

Great work Scott. Question about the frame you used. I have seen it used buy many others and wondering how to make it. I use PSP11 wondering what you are using?

Thanks Pat,
It's a script plugin. I bought it off a dpreview member called "mskab".
He is the Author of the plugin. Here is a link to him. It's pretty cheap too.
Cheers.

Very nice

Great images Scott. The landscapes are my favorites, closely followed by the dragonfly..
