I was aiming to catch this ant in normal body position, hopefully stationary. But the only time he stayed still enough was when he went into this contortionist position. I am sure there is an insect expert out there who can explain what it is doing?
Anyway he took of too quickly for this slow-witted photographer to catch (yeah, I know - use a flash!! but like I said, this "slow-witted photographer.......) so all I was left with was this.
