Very good detail, I'm sure it's a Lynx Spider which are quite common

Thanks Heinrich. I now have to replace the pistol grip I used for these kind of shots as it is playing up with the shutter release cable I normally use with it.

Probably looking for an ant to munch on. That plant does seem to attract bugs, don't it?

I do like that lens/camera combination.

You know, you have two great shots of insects on your poor little kangaroo plant. I really feel for the little guy. The spider especially is scary enough to cause the plant to collapse. Both are really nicely detailed shots and sharp as tacks but I still worry about the plant.

Hee. Thanks Susan. My Kangaroo plants are very brave and hardy - so I think they will survive!
