Thanks! I used to see Variegated Wrens all the time up in Brisbane, but they were never as colourful as these guys!

Thanks Larry! Spring is definitely the time to catch bird plumage at its best. The DFA 150-450 is still very sharp wide open at f6.3, which provides a lovely bokeh.

I saw my first one of these at Menindee this week but didn't get a shot half as good as this one
