I heard a loud noise out our window yesterday, and when I looked I saw this guy picking through dead material left by the lawn mowers.
I'm not sure what he was doing, but he left in another few seconds.
Blue Jays were common here Thanksgiving through Easter, when we were filling the squirrel feeder - and they loved the whole peanuts - but this is the first one I have seen since then.
