Drones act as an extenable tripod with no weight to carry, just need that foreground subject...ie Trees, Cliffs, Gound..etc.

Hi Sight1,

Beautiful visions, as stated above the drone can be used on many occasions and Covid-19 permitting, next Spring / Summer, I would like to buy one to explore many places inaccessible from land,

where there are many things yet to see.

Good shots again, Mario

Fun visual extentions, beyond the reach of arms length, flying the drone is also an interesting experience and pre-shot planning is definately recommended, wind, hidden branches, structures, and natural birds of prey that are territorial and will easily take out a drone, make each shot a new challenge. Thanks for looking....Cheers!

That 3-way GIMBAL is a must, horizon lines will be always crooked requiring constant straightening in post, DJI has a 3-way floating gimbal with speed adjust, along with smoothness, you definately get what you pay for. DJI MINI will kick that ones butt.

Wind, Geography, Electromagnetic Interference, WI-FI Reception, DJI Mini has enhanced wifi and safety features, you cant go wrong. Met a gentleman the other day, ordered a 160.00 dollar drone, wished he had put in the extra bucks for the DJI. His was the holy stone drone, nice copy but missing the fine requirements of photographic arial photography. These are not a toy, must have modes for cinematic, position, and sport, DJI has that covered.

Hi Sight1,

Beautiful images, it is also interesting the detail of the horizon line, which avoids or reduces the problem of cropping in the editing phase,

are those details that must be evaluated before purchase.

Greetings, Mario

Yes, horizons will usually be in the shot, unless you point gimbal below that line, allows for easier composition in flight as the angle is smooth and straight across the edge, when you guide the craft to your subject the area of interest remains steady and not crooked as if flying in a plane with wings tipped. Also flying over water requires at least 6 to 20 feet above the surface, sensors will argue with the gps from satellites and the drone will drop into the surf below. Height over water should be at least 20 feet or better. No low seagull type pics. The three way gimbal on the DJI Mini is motorized and adjustable from the controller to fine hone its responses during your photo shoots. This was a major selling feature of this craft, the DJI Spark did not have the 3 way gimbal and people were greatly dissapointed. One less thing to worry about when flying your camera, less pic loss in post when straightening an image, i find it is always bang on. This craft is a joy to use, and the perfect entry level drone. DJI wants to keep customers in this hobby, they did that with the MINI.
