I made a quick trip by the airport while out running errands and was fortunate enough to catch this C-32B shooting a low approach at JAN. This was a very hasty shot. This is one of two very interesting aircraft attached to the 486th Flight Test Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida 486th Flight Test Squadron - Wikipedia

Hey, Jer, thanks I really appreciate the comment, My Friend!! I usually take my K-3 along wherever I go just incase a photo op pops up. I had the PLM mounted and preset for catching prop planes (to catch propeller motion) which usually works for big jets too. I had everything sort of ready to shoot but I still muffed the framing a bit on the first shot. Thanks for viewing.

You definitely did a great job here. In the first one, she is still coming it at approximately 200mph, so catching her as well as you did is quite a miracle. Nice work and thanks for sharing. I am thinking this has to be a Boeing job although I cannot tell if it is a 737 or what not. )

Many thanks, TT, this was probably a low approach or a go around and the pilots had just initiated the pull up in the first image and in the second one you can see the main gear beginning to cycle up. This is a Boeing jet but a C-32B (757) one of only two 32Bs in the Air Force inventory thus the rare bird thread title. If you click on the 486th Flight Test Squadron Wikipedia link there is some good information on this aircraft and the 486th mission.
