Holding back the Mist

Very nice. I feel like I'm standing there.

I think your choice of shutter speed was right on.

I think "evocative" fits the nature of the wonderful photo, Susan. A scene that's both misty and a bit mystical.

Thanks all. This particular area has always been difficult for me to grab a photo of but the morning mist just made it so much easier. The shots from there are my favorite so far. We have another week here and are hoping for more fog and mist.

Beautifully constructed landscape photography. I must admit that I love the results generated by the Pentax gear you used. I now have a Pentax k-3ii body right at the top of my XMAS List.

Very atmospheric - love the patterns of the mossy roots in the foreground. Definitely a wall-hanger!
