Re-shoot
Posted By: Jimbo, 11-09-2008, 12:58 PM

I posted a one of these trees last weekend and someone asked what it would look like using a wide angle shot. I left the one shot in color and the other is now B&W. Shot with my Pentax 12-14. Cheers JIMBO

Color is my choice .. and by the way, an excellent image. You have made a good choice when selecting the middle of image in between two rows
Thanks Kurt.. I was tryin gto focus on the right distance from the trees to get as much in as possible without having to crop too much of the foreground. [side of the road] Alwyas appreciate your feedback

Wow, very very nice...

I like the depth of the color version, but the B&W version lets the eye pick up the symmetry of the tree rows better, at least towards the corners. I'd print both of 'em, personally.

agree with all of the above and like the colour version much better. Excellent shot.

Well as much as i don't mind B&W i like the colour show the best, maybe its the border, a dark border on the b&w photo may be nice

Jimbo, afraid I didn't see the "other" image however this one is quite pleasing to the eyes, especially the colour version. The cropping is excellent.

Simple, stark and way over the top cool! They are both wonderful but the color version is out of the park!
