AOCO 1919_101 Years
Posted By: Septrain, 11-01-2020, 07:08 PM

November 2020 is Pentax 101 years.

To commemorate the event, a small group of die-hard Pentaxians in Singapore came with the idea of AOCO 1919 and Pentax 101 Polo Ts & caps for personal wear.

We had a photo outing on Nov 1, 2020 & pleased to share the photos.

I like the third one best! Beautiful subject... Did you use some kind of flash for this one?

I have to agree with someone else earlier. Film shots are even more stunning than digital ones!

I thought it was a cloudy morning and made the mistake of using ISO400 film.
The grainy shots are taken with MX + A100mm/2.8 with Fujifilm Superia Premium 400.

I will never get tired of seeing those lovely smiles!

I had no idea that 400 ISO film could be so grainy. And I complain when my digital camera shows noise at 3200 ISO.

Those are the kind of smiles shots that lighten an otherwise gloomy, cold and wet day! Thanks for sharing more shots. It looks like this lady is enjoying herself anyway!

She definitely has a wonderful smile, and seems like a competent model.

I gotta ask. Were there any other people at that celebration?

Just a small group of us Pentax users.
As well, there are COVID19 restrictions on group gatherings (no more than 5paxes), so, is just one model and 4 photographers.

She is definitely more than "competent".
Very delightful to work with.
