After pruning all the hosta this young Whitetail doe has begun cleaning up the apples.
K-5II with DA55-300RE at 300mm.

The White-tails are as thick as thieves here on Mount Desert Island. Hardly a day goes by without seeing at least one. Rabbits on the other hand are quite scarce here. Perhaps it is you who are lucky!

Thank you! A couple stories actually. One, the deer is in the garden......two, the fence needs a new coat of paint :-)

Thank you Bertrand! She was actually looking for a way around me and into the woods. Eventually she bolted quite close in front of me. I was too slow to get the action shot unfortunately.
