During a visit to my mothers place, I was surprised to see lots of flowers still in full bloom, even after near freezing temps. Here is one quick shot I got during the visit.

Good old marigolds, nice composition Morg.
You might want to clone out that tiny piece of petal that's showing right at top of the shot though.

Thanks Gary. Yeah, I saw that little bit of yellow after I posted it. Just figures...

Thanks Jimbo! She still had a few others left, but most had wilted already. These must be pretty hardy.

Gary, I cloned out that little bit of yellow that was in my first one and resent it. Amazing how just a small glint of something out of place can really make a difference. Looks much better now.

PS: Just got my new Sigma 17-77mm from UPS! It's dreary and overcast here right now, so may be later before I can use it...
