Assigned to the 5th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
Stopped by the airport for a little bit of plane spotting on the way to Walmart.

Yep they get the job done, I read somewhere that the fire control system on board can track a 40mm round all the way to the target. In Vietnam these guys were "area" weapons as opposed to "precision" weapons that they are now!! Thanks for the visit!!

Many thanks, Pete, it helps to know that most of the AC-130 aircraft are Special Ops aircraft and they are usually stationed somewhere on the Eglin Airforce Base complex in Florida, mostly at Hurlburt Field. Thanks for the visit, My Friend!!
