Good composition and the colors are sublime.

It seems to me that the mound to the right of the tree makes all the difference to the composition and that if it weren't there things would be a little more bland, even though there's little to the mound itself of interest.

Nice! I like the proportions of the yellow to orange.

Thanks for the comment, Au Contraire the little mound has historical significance Boyd Mounds Site -- National Register of Historic Places Indian Mounds of Mississippi Travel Itinerary

What a pleasing scene, Larry. Since we lived in Nashville back in the early '70s, I've wanted to drive the Trace to Natchez, but I've never realized that desire.
