Millstone

The old millstone is merely decoration now but speaks to the era when these 18th century Federal and Cape style clapboard houses were constructed and the lifestyle the occupants led at the time.

I bet that would be fun to move using period technology!.

We have an old mill "Yates Mill" that is a park now. There are a couple of grind stones laying around at the park. They periodically run the mill but I haven't been out to catch that yet.
