I noticed the sidelight falling on this rip-rap near the Saint Lawrence River and found this particularly shiny and beautiful piece of rock.

Looks like a bit of mineralisation in the rock there. Camera and lens shows it up well.

Getting the surface of stone - for example, getting writing - can be very tricky, but you certainly got it here.
