Paul ... awesome series of images ... looks like the K20D is really working for you ... you have done well here.

Although your area is a great place to shoot though ... Central Coast area is great for waterbirds and the like.

Great series. You really show the capability of the K20D with the 55-300mm. I may have to replace my DA 50-200mm with the 55-300mm. Thansk for posting.

They are all great shots, I just love that lens also. It's kept me from getting the DA*300 f4. I'd still like to get me a Tak. smc 300 though.

Thnx for comments.I have to say the k20D and 55-300mm work well for birding and sports.If your technique is good you will get your pics.Some birds catch me by surprise it takes me 5 seconds to get camera out of bag n focus take shot.But i think luck plays a small part sometimes.I do miss shots but my keeper rate improves as time goes on .
