Absolutely lovely landscape! I wonder, is it shot close to sundown or did you use a gradient filter? The sky has a pleasant blue to it and I can only spot a tiny cloud. Very nice!

Thank you for your kind comments. In fact, this was shot at the worst time for modelling light on landscape, in the middle of the day, but it was an exceptionally clear day, and the breeze on the water was kind to us. I think I might have used a half-stop gradient filter on the sky in PS, but not a physical one.

Very nice for all the right reasons. However, I am sure you won't take offence, and you probably know anyway, the outlook today just isn't a patch on what the scenery was before it was flooded.

Beautiful subject! Personally I would like it a bit more exposed.

Thank you. Not having had the means to travel there prior to its flooding, I couldn’t comment from personal experience, but I have seen the photos taken by those who did. Of course, what was there is still there, but harder to see now.

Thank you. I’m often surprised by how different some photos look on different devices. To my eye, this looks fine on my 27” iMac, but on some others it probably does appear a little under-exposed. I suspect the lower contrast resulting from the time of day is the source of that.

Thank you. That was my thought when I visited your lovely city, too. The differences between our environments is the reason we all travel, isn’t it? Nonetheless, it’s always gratifying to have your own work appreciated by people from other places.

Thanks, Stephen. I’ve been exploring the potential of landscape panos lately, so it’s gratifying to hear from others that I’m heading the right way.

Nice of you to say so, Liney. It’s not wholly pristine, of course, but then not much is, when you take the long view.
