2nd post for 2020
Lens: 50mm Camera: K10 Photo Location: Front Yard
Posted By: old4570, 11-16-2020, 09:19 PM

I was out with the K10 taking pictures of something else . And I decided to take some pictures , if I could find anything to photograph .
2020 has been a Latrine of a year . Windy as all + all the other stuff .

It's still windy today , but these are not good . Terrible pictures . But there is a lack of subject matter . The bees came and went quickly as the wind just hammered the flowering mandarin tree . The flowers did not last long with gale force winds just ripping them off the tree . Cant wait for 2020 to be over !

I love the first and the last most. Nice color rendering. 2020 is coming to an end, hopefully this whole thing will be over sometime next year, so we can get out and take some photos.

If these are the second post of the year then they were worth the wait. Great detail and colours, I can never get a dragonfly to sit still long enough to focus!

Nice shots. Very sharp in spite of the wind.

These are some wonderful shots. I do love the colors my K10D produces. As long as I keep it at ISO 400 or less, it's capable of great images with the right lens. These shots show off what the camera can do. Well done!

Thank you ..
The K10 is a little dated and anything over 400ISO makes for a very grainy image . 100 and 200 ISO is probably where you want to keep the K10 for a nicer sharper picture .
I was out taking pictures of a DIY security camera I cobbled together from a Dashcam and a sensor light .

These are so far from terrible... if you want terrible I'll show you my equivalent using a much newer camera.

But I do understand having years where it seems like there's nothing worthwhile in the local environs to shoot.
